Scholarship Opportunities

Scholarships are an excellent way to assist in funding your education. We offer two types of scholarship opportunities at Woodland Community College (WCC), Yuba Community College District (YCCD) Foundation, and External Scholarships. These scholarship opportunities are typically one-time-only, so plan on continuing your research for scholarships each year. They may be awarded based on academic performance, community service, residency, and/or other criteria as defined by the founder or donor of the scholarship. For more information, review the YCCD Foundation and the External scholarship opportunities outlined below.

YCCD Foundation logo The focus of the Yuba Community College District (YCCD) Foundation is to provide increased opportunities for students and support student success. We do this by seeking, managing, and administering funds for the betterment of student-centered programming and services at Woodland Community College and Yuba College.

Congratulations to all recent scholarship awardees! We see you making your mark!

Woodland Community College Financial Aid Office maintains a list of external scholarship opportunities for student access. This list is not all-inclusive (there are too many to list!). From the list, students are directed to potential scholarship resources available from external donors and organizations. External scholarship opportunities are not associated with WCC nor the YCCD Foundation opportunities described above.
