Find campus, local, and national resources for LGBTQIA students and allies, including wellness, crisis support, housing, scholarships, identity support, and community organizations.
💻 Online Training
Students, staff, and faculty are invited to participate in interactive online trainings to learn new ways to support LGBTQIA students.
🛡️ Safe Zones
Safe Zones identify welcoming and affirming spaces where LGBTQIA students can feel respected, supported, and included.
📝 Preferred Name Support
Students interested in updating their preferred/chosen name should contact Admissions & Records for support with the preferred name change process.
🚻 Gender-Inclusive Restrooms
WCC is working to provide accessible information and maps for gender-inclusive restrooms at Woodland Community College, Lake County Campus, and Colusa County Campus.
🤝 Create Community
Students, faculty, staff, and allies are encouraged to participate in events, share ideas, and help build inclusive campus spaces.
🌈 WCC Pride: LGBTQIA & Allies WCC Campus Workgroup
The WCC Pride Workgroup is a collaborative group of faculty, staff, students, and allies dedicated to supporting LGBTQIA students and strengthening an inclusive campus community at Woodland Community College.
The workgroup meets regularly to discuss campus-wide initiatives, events, training opportunities, resources, and student-centered support.
Students are encouraged to participate and help shape the future of LGBTQIA support and programming at WCC.
