- Founder’s Dinner- April 8th at 4:30 p.m. at the Quad on the WCC-Main Campus (8 tickets). This event celebrates those who have made significant contributions to our college community through hard work, vision, and dedication to the mission of our institution. This year we are recognizing the contributions made by Ana Villagrana, who served our college for many years, Dr. Daniel Walker (posthumously), who envisioned the construction of Woodland’s own community college decades ago, Lance Davis and Dennis Schiermeyer, who were pillars as members of our adjunct faculty and educated thousands of students, and WCC’s Foster and Kinship Care Education (FKCE) Programs who under the leadership of director Cherie Schroeder, have transformed the lives of thousands of foster youths in our region.
