Annette Lee was born in the East Bay Area and raised in Lake County, California. She holds a CA Career Technical Education clear teaching credential, a bachelor’s degree in History from Sonoma State University, is certified in school business management by UC Riverside, and graduated with honors from the University of Nevada, Reno with a master’s degree in Business Administration. She is actively pursuing her Doctorate in Educational Administration and hopes to complete her dissertation in 2021.  She began working for Lake County Campus in 2007 as a part-time business instructor, and from 2015 through 2018 served as the Executive Dean of the Colusa and Lake County Campuses.  Annette now serves as the College’s full-time Business and Management faculty member, has been an active supporter of WCC’s Guided Pathways initiative, and continues to advocate for our college centers.

As both a business and an arts enthusiast, Annette owned and operated Konocti Dance Academy from 2007 to 2015. She taught dance and entrepreneurship at Lower Lake High School and served as the volunteer choreographer for Lower Lake High School’s show choir – the Blue Notes – from 2008 through 2014, earning the title of LLHS Volunteer of the Year in 2011. Annette has also served the community as a certified Hospice caregiver, is a past president of the Middletown Area Merchants Association, and is a regional board member and the vice-chair of the Lake County Advisory Board of Workforce Alliance of the North Bay.

Annette lives in South Lake County with her husband Shane, daughter Fiona, and son Jay.
