Kevin McClain
My name is Kevin McClain, and I am the Director of Academic Excellence within the Student Success Center. I started my journey at Woodland Community College in July 2023. Prior to working at Woodland Community College, I served in various roles in higher education in Louisiana, Nebraska, and North Carolina. I enjoy working with students and helping them grow into successful scholars. My goal at Woodland Community College is to help students navigate academic success so they can earn their associate’s degree, certificate, or transfer to a four-year institution.
I am currently on paternity leave this semester and will return to campus on October 24, 2025.
Supreeth Prasad
My name is Supreeth Prasad, and I am the Interim Director of the Student Success Center at Woodland Community College, serving in this capacity while Kevin McClain is on paternity leave until October 24. I also serve as Interim Director of MESA (Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement) and am currently teaching CHEM 1A this fall as an adjunct professor here at WCC.
I bring over 5 years of experience in higher education, specializing in student success and STEM support for underrepresented students. As an accomplished chemistry educator and computational research scientist, I have proven expertise in implementing data-driven solutions that increase student retention and success outcomes.
My goal during this interim period is to maintain the Student Success Center’s commitment to helping students navigate academic success so they can earn their associate’s degree, certificate, or transfer to a four-year institution.

Kimberly Boles-Cravea
I am the Student Success Specialist for the Lake County Campus of Woodland Community College. I began my career by returning to school in 2001, I have several business degrees; also, I have a BS in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Learning Disabilities. I also have a Master’s Degree in Education with a minor in Disabilities Studies. I work at the Lake County campus first as a student worker from 2003-2006, then as a permanent staff since 2006. I also teach the LEARN Classes, for basic skills and the CWEE (Cooperative Work Experience). My goal is to help students reach their goals. I am blessed to have an amazing job and working with a wonderful team.
