Jamie Seibel

I am a Language Arts (ESL) Instructional Associate at the Student Success Center. I have started my journey with Woodland Community College during the Spring 2023 semester. As an undergraduate and graduate student at Sacramento State, I worked as a peer-tutor, a PAVE volunteer tutor, and a Teaching Associate for English Five. I currently have a Master’s Degree in English, a Certificate in Teaching College Composition, a TESOL/TEFL certificate, and a minor in Sociology. Overall, I love interacting with faculty and students who enjoy helping others and are passionate about academic subjects. My goal for this semester is to not only help students succeed in their classes, but also to encourage students to be confident in themselves. As Marianne Williamson claims, “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.”

Kevin McClain

My name is Kevin McClain, and I am the Director of Academic Excellence within the Student Success Center.  I started my journey at Woodland Community College in July 2023.  Prior to working at Woodland Community College, I served in various roles in higher education in Louisiana, Nebraska, and North Carolina.  I enjoy working with students and helping them grow into successful scholars.  My goal at Woodland Community College is to help students navigate academic success so they can earn their associate’s degree, certificate, or transfer to a four-year institution.

Kimberly Boles-Cravea

I am the Student Success Specialist for the Lake County Campus of Woodland Community College.  I began my career by returning to school in 2001, I have several business degrees; also, I have a BS in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Learning Disabilities.  I also have a Master’s Degree in Education with a minor in Disabilities Studies.  I work at the Lake County campus first as a student worker from 2003-2006, then as a permanent staff since 2006.  I also teach the LEARN Classes, for basic skills and the CWEE (Cooperative Work Experience).  My goal is to help students reach their goals.  I am blessed to have an amazing job and working with a wonderful team. 

Jocelyne Mozqueda

I am the Instructional Associate for STEM at the Student Success Center here in Woodland Community College. I started my journey with WCC during the Spring 2024 semester. I have a BA in Mathematics and have prior experience working with college math department faculty as a math tutor and peer mentor during my undergraduate studies. I am deeply passionate about helping students and it is always rewarding to be a part of their academic success story. I am determined to help our students reach their academic and career goals by providing a friendly, equitable, and welcoming environment.
