How to Apply for EOPS:

  1. Be a current or new Woodland Community College Student.
    1. How to become a Woodland Community College student? Follow the following steps:
      1. Submit a Woodland Community College application for Admissions- apply in person in building 700 or online.
      2. Complete New Student Orientation- visit or call the Counseling Department at 530-661-5703 for dates and times or complete it online.
      3. Apply for financial aid- file FAFSA online and complete the BOG Fee Waiver available in the Financial Aid Office in Bldg 700 or call (530) 661-5725 for help.
  2. Fill out the EOPS/CARE Application.
  3. Submit completed application to at the EOP&S office located in building 700, room 735, OR, Scan and Email it to: wcceops@yccd.edu

Q: What happens after I submit my application?

A: The EOPS Specialist, Director, or Staff will review your application for Eligibility. This can takeĀ  3 - 7 Business Days. An eligible student will receive a call from our office to invite them for an Orientation Intake appointment to enroll them in the program. Any student whose ineligible will receive an email with a denial letter.

How to Apply for CARE:

  1. Complete the CARE section of the EOPS Application.
  2. Attach a copy of your Proof of Aid/Passport for Service with your EOPS Application upon submitting.
  • Remember: When applying to the CARE Program you must bring the following documents to your EOP&S Intake Appointment; request them from your county caseworker.
Proof of Aid/Passport for services - Please make sure that both you and your dependents (children) names are listed, age or date of birth, aid code, and be dated within the month of the semester beginning.
