WCC participates in Transfer Admission Guarantee Programs (UC TAG Program)

Transfer admission guarantees are contracts entered into by the student and the University of California. It is a contract listing the exact courses you must take and the GPA required for guaranteed admission to that institution. WCC has transfer agreement programs with UC Davis, UC Riverside, UC Santa Barbara, UC Santa Cruz, UC San Diego, UC Merced, and UC Irvine. Make an appointment with your WCC counselor as soon as possible for information about these agreements.

Which UC Campuses are Accepting Spring 2026 Applications?
  • UC Merced: Accepts both first-year and transfer (sophomore and junior) applications for the Spring 2026 term, though first-year options may be limited to specific majors. 
  • UC Santa Cruz: Accepts transfer applications for the Winter/Spring 2026 term. 
  • UC Riverside: Typically accepts transfer applications for Winter 2026, which can function as a spring entry point. 

Some CSU Campuses have extended their Spring 2026 admission deadlines. Please view further information.
