Undocumented Student Week of Action Webinars

Serving the largest number of undocumented students in the state, California Community Colleges are committed to serving all students, regardless of immigration status. In its seventh year, Undocumented Student Action Week, October 16 through 20, is a system-wide campaign to advocate and provide support resources for our undocumented student population.

A series of webinars hosted by CCCCO will be offered each day and are open to undocumented students, students of mixed-status families, and undocu-allies.

  • Tuesday, October 17, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am – Immigrant Visas and How to Access In-State Tuition 
  • Tuesday, October 17, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm – Anti-racism: A Student Plan of Action 
  • Wednesday, October 18, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am – Championing Equity through AB 540: Increasing Access for Undocumented Students 
  • Wednesday, October 18, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm – Our Stories Are One: We Support Undocumented Students 
  • Wednesday, October 18, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm – From the Shadows to Advocacy in Action: A Case Study on Creating Student-Informed Policy with Undocumented Students
  • Thursday, October 19, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am – Cultivating Belonging for Undocumented Students in Teaching and Learning Spaces
  • Thursday, October 19, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm – Advocacy in Action: Strategies for Local, State, and Federal Action
  • Friday, October 20, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am – Renewing the Dream: Making Financial Aid Accessible through Policy and Practice
