External Scholarships

Find More Free Money for College

Looking for more ways to pay for college?

External scholarships are awards offered by organizations outside of Woodland Community College—including foundations, businesses, nonprofits, and community groups. These scholarships can help cover tuition, books, and other college expenses, and you do not have to pay them back.

Thousands of external scholarships are available every year, and many students qualify for awards based on:

  • Academic achievement
  • Career or major interests
  • Community involvement
  • Hobbies or talents
  • Personal background or experiences
  • Financial need

Even small scholarships can add up and help reduce your education costs.
