TRIO Upward Bound (UB)
This program requires an application to participate and receive benefits.
Who do we help?
- •High school students currently attending Williams High School or Pierce High School
- •Eighth graders entering ninth grade at either school
- •Students from income-eligible households under federal TRIO guidelines
- •U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
- •Students who will be the first in their family to earn a bachelor's degree

Saturday Academies
Monthly enrichment sessions focused on basic skills, career pathways, and college readiness.
Weekly Resource Sessions
Regular meetings with tutors and advisors for academic, career, and college planning support.
On-Campus Tutoring
Weekly tutoring at school sites with optional 1-on-1 sessions by request.
Senior College Prep
Hands-on help with applications, financial aid, scholarships, and housing during senior year.
College Visits
Trips to CSU, UC, and other California campuses to explore college options firsthand.
Academic Counseling
Bi-monthly sessions with a counselor to set goals and monitor progress through high school.
Summer Academic Program
Six-week session with college courses, daily tutoring, ACT/SAT Test prep, workshops, and recreational activities.
