If you’re taking classes at more than one college during the same semester, it’s important to talk to the Financial Aid Offices at both schools before you receive aid. In most cases, you can only receive federal or state financial aid from one school at a time. If you receive aid from more than one college for the same term without approval, you may be required to pay back some or all of the funds. That responsibility falls on you as the student. To avoid issues:

• Visit the Financial Aid Office at Woodland Community College to confirm your eligibility
• If you need additional help covering costs at both schools, ask if a consortium agreement is possible
• Remember that receiving your first disbursement means you’re agreeing to the terms and conditions of your financial aid award

If you are receiving aid through Woodland Community College (not including the California College Promise Grant), your refund will be delivered via BankMobile Disbursements, a service powered by BMTX, Inc., according to WCC’s semester payment schedule.
