How to Complete Your Financial Aid File in Self-Service
Your financial aid file must be complete before any aid can be processed or disbursed. Using Woodland Community College Self-Service, you can check your Award Letter, find out if you have missing documents, and monitor your Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) status—all in one place.
Video Guide
Watch this walkthrough of how to use Self-Service to view your financial aid information:
Steps to Complete Your File
- Log in to Self-Service
Go to login.yccd.edu and sign in with your Woodland Community College credentials. Select “Woodland Community College Self-Service” and then click on the Financial Aid tab to reach your Financial Aid Home Page. - Review your Award Letter
On the left menu, click Financial Information → Financial Aid → Offer Letter. Here you’ll see your Award Letter (sometimes called your Offer Letter), which shows the types and amounts of aid you’re eligible for. - Check for required documents
From the same Financial Aid menu, select Required Documents. This section will display any documents still needed to complete your file. Each item will show as either “Incomplete” or “Received.” Submit all outstanding documents as soon as possible to avoid delays. - Monitor your SAP status
Select Satisfactory Academic Progress to view your SAP status, including details and history. Notifications are color-coded: yellow means “warning” and red means “terminated.” Staying in good SAP standing is required to keep your financial aid.
Tips
- Processing can take 4–8 weeks after you submit all documents, so plan ahead.
- If you see a warning or termination in your SAP status, talk with a Financial Aid staff member right away about your options.
- Use your Woodland Community College student email for all communication to comply with federal privacy regulations.
