Back to Financial Aid
If your financial aid refund can’t be delivered—often due to an outdated address, missing bank info, or not selecting a refund preference with BankMobile Disbursements (powered by BMTX, Inc.)—your funds may be returned as undeliverable.
To avoid delays or losing access to your funds, follow these steps:
1. Check and update your BankMobile refund preferences
Log in to BankMobile Disbursements and make sure your refund method, bank account info, and mailing address are current.
2. Notify the Woodland Community College Financial Aid Office
Once your info is updated, contact the Financial Aid Office to let them know. If time permits under federal guidelines, they may be able to reissue your refund to your updated preference.
3. Don’t wait—timing matters
If you don’t update your refund info in time, your aid will be returned to the original source:
- Federal aid (like Pell Grants) is returned to the U.S. Department of Education
- State aid (like Cal Grants) is returned to the California Student Aid Commission
4. Be aware of unpaid charges
Under federal regulation 34 CFR 690.78, Woodland Community College may apply your aid to cover unpaid tuition or fees before issuing any refund.
