WCC Podcast Basics Workshop Series

The WCC eLearning Studio invites students to a comprehensive four-part workshop series designed to teach you the fundamentals of podcasting. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, this series covers essential topics, including storytelling, recording techniques, audio editing (with Adobe Audition basics), and storing/distributing your podcast. Students who complete all four workshops will earn the WCC Podcast Basics Badge.

Woodland Campus Workshops:

- Day: Tuesdays
- Dates: Mid-September – Early October (Specific dates for each workshop are: 9/16, 9/23, 9/30, 10/7)

Lake Campus Workshops:
- Time: 12:00 PM – 12:45 PM
- Day: Mondays
- Dates: Mid-October – Early November (Specific dates for each workshop are: 10/13, 10/20, 10/27, 11/3)
- Location: 900 building, Room 908

- Think Like Your Listener (Storytelling, interviewing, planning)
- Recording Your Podcast (Technical, legal, and ethical aspects of creating a podcast)
- Editing an Audio File (Adobe Audition editing basics)
- Storing and Distributing Your Podcast (Getting your podcast to the world)
