How to Change Your Major at Woodland Community College

If your academic or career goals have changed, you can update your program (major) at any time. Changing your major helps ensure your Education Plan, financial aid, and degree progress are aligned with your goals.

1

Meet with a Counselor (Recommended)

Before changing your major, schedule a meeting with a counselor. The counselor can help you explore your options and update your Program, Education Plan, or Educational Goal.

  • If you want to remove an old major, include it in the “Remove Program(s)” section. If you’re unsure, write: “Please remove current program.”
