We’re proud to recognize Professor Brian Gillespie, who was recently featured in the Tuleyome Newsletter!
Professor Gillespie gave an engaging introduction to our local native bees and shared the exciting research he and his students have been conducting. Their work is part of a multi-college collaborative project involving community colleges across California and Arizona to survey local bee populations.
As part of this project, Professor Gillespie and his students surveyed bees right here on the Woodland Community College Campus and at the Woodland Regional Park Preserve.
We’re grateful for Professor Gillespie’s dedication to hands-on student learning and his contribution to understanding and protecting our local environment.
