How to login and claim your Student Account
When you apply to Woodland Community College, you’re assigned a student ID number and login credentials to access key systems like Self-Service, Canvas, your student email, and more.
Check Your Email
Within 24 hours of submitting your application, Woodland Community College sends a Welcome Email to the email address you used on your application. This welcome email includes:
- Your Username
- Your Student ID Number (W#)
- Your YCCD Email Address
@go.yccd.edu - Your Claim Code
- Link to claim your account
Didn’t receive the email? Be sure to check your junk or spam folder for messages from @go.yccd.edu or yccdpostmaster@goyccd.onmicrosoft.com with a subject of “Welcome To Yuba Community College District.”
Activate/Claim your account
Every student will need to “claim” their account before logging in to YCCD services.
If this is your first time logging in, use the Claim Code from your welcome email, and enter it in the ID Portal and create a password.

Login Issues?
Check your email for your username and password. If you don’t have this, try logging in using the default format:
- Username: First initial + last name + last 4 digits of your W#
- Example: jsmith1234
- Default Password: Capital first letter of your first name + lowercase first letter of your last name + 6-digit birthdate (MMDDYY)
- Example: Js060101
If your username or password isn’t working, you can recover your login credentials through the YCCD ID Lookup tool.
If you are unable to retrieve your ID#, please contact WCC Admissions & Records.
