Woodland Community College Releases New Pan Dulce with the President Episode Featuring Assembly Majority Leader Cecilia Aguiar-Curry

Woodland, CA — Woodland Community College is proud to announce the release of the newest episode of Pan Dulce with the President, featuring a conversation between Woodland Community College President Lizette Navarette and California Assembly Majority Leader Cecilia Aguiar-Curry.

In this engaging episode, Majority Leader Aguiar-Curry shares with President Navarette the transformative power of higher education, the importance of expanding opportunity for rural communities, and the partnerships that strengthen the region’s workforce and economy. Their conversation also highlights the critical role community colleges play in preparing students for success while addressing local and statewide needs. Assembly Majority Leader Aguiar-Curry represents Assembly District 4, which includes all of Napa, Lake, Yolo, and Colusa counties, in addition to part of Sonoma County. Assembly District 4 includes Woodland Community College and its centers in Clearlake and Williams.

The episode is released just ahead of the start of the new academic year, inviting students, employees, alumni, and community members to join the conversation about education, leadership, and creating brighter futures together.
