In celebration and the closing of Latinx Heritage Month, the Office of Retention and Student Life and the MESA program are proud to present the feature film “A Million Miles Away.”

This biopic shares the story of MESA alumni Jose Hernandez and his path from migrant farm worker to engineer and astronaut. A tale of perseverance, community and sacrifice to accomplish a seemingly impossible dream.
