Check your email for your Student ID Number

After you complete you application, you'll get an email confirming your admission to the college. This email has a link to retrieve your 7-digit Student ID number.

Change your default password

Be sure to log into and change your password. 

Didn't get your Student ID by email?

You can look up your Student ID number and password and additional login information at YCCD Online Help.

What is my password?

Your default password is a combination of the following:

  • Start with the uppercase first letter of your legal first name
  • Lowercase first letter of your legal last name
  • Last 4 digits of your Social Security Number
  • The 2 digits of your birth month (e.g., April = 04)

John doe with a SSN of 123-45-6789 born on January 2, 1999 would be Jd678901

Complete your online orientation

Orientation will help you become acquainted with our college's resources, technology, campus, and staff to assist you in successful completion of your goals.

Talk with a counselor

Step 4

Meet with a counselor to develop your Student Educational Plan.

All NEW students are required to meet with a counselor to plan out the best classes for your goals.

You are considered a "new student" if you have not previously attended Woodland Community College (except during high school) or any other college.

Register for classes online!

You're all set! Start searching for classes and register online using our Self-Service tool.

Watch our helpful videos for getting started including a video on how to enroll using Self-Service.

Registration Tips:

  • Once logged in to Self-Service, click on “Registration Checklist” link at the top of the page and follow the steps.
  • Learn how waitlisting works.
  • Remember, you have 10 Days to Pay. You will be dropped automatically from a class if you do not pay your fees within 10 days of registering.
  • It is important to show up for the first day of class to avoid being dropped!
