The focus is an introduction to skills that are relevant to success as an office clerk, administrative assistant, office manager, or other business information worker roles.
Take this introductory course to learn the kind of math used for accounting, management, real estate and marketing. Topics include: payroll, inventory controls, trade and cash discounts, simple and compound interest, present value, annuities and sinking funds, discounting of notes, buying and selling of mutual funds and stocks, depreciation, financial statements and real estate loans.

Annette leverages her long and varied experience in high-tech, logistics consulting, and start-ups to help you learn all of the "ins and outs" of running a business of your own.
As an arts enthusiast, Instructor Lee owned and operated Konocti Dance Academy which she founded in 2007. Prior to teaching and serving as Executive Dean, Annette was a Senior Consultant at Ernst & Young LLP focused on supply chain projects in the Bio-Tech industry. At AMD she developed a strategic procurement consortium aimed at improving efficiency and reducing cost for companies such as Cisco Systems Inc. and National Semiconductor. She has also held Program and Product Management positions at Spin Media Network Inc. and Sun Microsystems where she provided strategic direction and overall management for B2B e-commerce applications. As a FedEx Freight Product Manager, she led the development of portfolio products to extend the reach of FedEx services into the lucrative China market.
