2022 MESA Summer STEM Boot Camps - Now accepting applications!

The MESA Program at Woodland Community College is offering two MESA STEM Boot Camps in June 2022: the MESA Summer Math Readiness Boot Camp and the MESA Summer Biology Boot Camp. The MESA STEM Boot Camps are 4-day in person events held on the Woodland Community College campus for incoming and continuing WCC students designed to prepare you for your STEM courses and improve your problem-solving and critical thinking skills in a collaborative learning environment. The program provides students with a taste of college life while creating supportive relationships with faculty, staff, and peers. Students may apply to one or both boot camps. Students who successfully complete the boot camp will receive a small stipend.

The dates for the MESA Math Readiness Boot Camp are June 20 – 23, 2022.

The dates for the MESA Biology Boot Camp are June 27 – June 30, 2022.

Eligibility:

Participants must be eligible for the MESA Program. To be eligible for MESA, a student must be:

1. A declared major in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) pursuing a bachelor’s degree and

2. A first generation student or a financial aid recipient
