  1. If you use Google (Google Mail or Google Drive/Docs), we recommend that send your gmail address to Dena Martin. Dena will then send you an invitation to edit a Standard and you can ignore the directions below since it will automatically identify your suggestions and comments
  2. If you do not have a Free Google Account (Gmail) and would like to try it out then get one here

How to make a comment on a Google Doc (text instructions)

  1. Open the standard document
  2. Highlight the text you want to comment on.
  3. To add a comment, in the toolbar, click Comment .
  4. Type your comment. Be sure to identify yourself for any comments regarding additions, revisions, or deletions to the text.
  5. Click Comment.

How to suggest a revision on a Google Doc (text instructions)

  1. Open the standard document
  2. Highlight the text you want to suggest a revision for.
  3. Type what you suggest.
  4. You can suggest additions, revision, or deletions to the text.
  5. Please reply to the suggested revision with you name for any content changes or corrections.
  6. No need to reply to suggestions for clarifications, spelling, or grammatical errors.
