PIQ consists of questions that allow UC representatives to learn more about you (e.g: your life experience, interests, ambitions, and inspirations).\nThe Transfer Opportunity Program (TOP) created PIQ Roundtable to provide you a space to network and help each other. There will be breakout sessions available for peer reviews and solicit feedback from others who are also applying this year.\nBefore the meeting, you must:\n\nReview PIQ worksheet for transfer students ( https://admission.universityofcalifornia.edu/_assets/files/how-to-apply/uc-personal-questions-guide-transfer.pdf )\nRead PIQ Tips ( https://admission.universityofcalifornia.edu/how-to-apply/applying-as-a-transfer/personal-insight-questions.html )\nNarrow down what questions you plan to write\nCreate a word doc in your Google Drive so it’s easier to exchange your paper with each other.\n\nUnder “Share” – Look for “General access” – Change it to “Anyone with the link.” Change role to say “Editor.” Click “Done“\n\n\nStart brainstorming, drafting, and revising your responses. Download Grammarly software to catch spelling errors.\nShare your drafts to family members/ counselors/ Community College Writing Center(s) to review.\n\nDuring the meeting, you will:\n\nLog in to the meeting using a computer and open your word document\nYou will join a breakout room with another student\nReview your partner’s responses and provide feedback/comments\n\nIf you cannot make this meeting, please cancel your registration through your confirmation email, so other students can attend.
